More Christmas with John

Jason and family came over to Diane's house late Christmas Day afternoon. Ashley held Taylor, while we were entertained by John.
John wanted to go up and down the stairs. He let Blair and Blaine and I take turns following him upstairs, watching him find neat stuff, then giving him a helping hand to come downstairs. Blaine taught John how to use the remote with the Bose system and how to turn the humidifier on and off. John got a kick out of the cool air blowing out of the humidifier.

Diane got some Taylor-holding time.

John took me around the house pointing out the Christmas tree, boats in a picture, and just saying "Wow" at every new thing he saw.

I got some more John and Taylor time the day after Christmas. John showed me his new "big-boy" bed that he had just taken a nap in. Jason had removed the side rails of the crib and John could get in and out of his bed by himself. Ashley had snuck into his room while he was napping to see how he was doing, and found him sitting happily on the floor playing with toys.
John also showed me his new train that he had gotten for Christmas.

Taylor showed off her pretty smile.
John also got a tool box with real tools inside.
We finished up the day with some "out-shide" time.
