In Memory of Tipper 2000? - Aug. 28, 2013

 Here is Tipper, he came to live with me in 2003 as an adult neutered stray,  but he was the sweetest most domesticated kitty I have ever had. He was a wonderful lap cat with a soothing purr. Tipper became ill and left us on Wednesday, Aug. 28, quietly and calmly as Bill and I petted him and told him goodbye. Love you and miss you, Tipper.

 

 

Claire learning to swim

Jeremy brought the twins to JanMa's house to swim on Saturday, not an unusual event.  But what was special is that Claire had that sudden moment of clarity and started swimming without her floaties.  Totally unexpected, Jeremy asked her if she wanted to try without floaties, she did.  She jumped in and stroked with her arms and kicked with her feet and made it to the other side of the pool.  No more floaties for Claire, she had a ball splashing around in the shallow end, jumping up to get a breath, swimming back and forth, jumping in on one side and swimming to the other.  I had her back on Saturday, Bill came and took some pictures and video.
