Claire stands alone!

Claire has started letting go and standing by herself. Then she claps her hands. I saw her do it last week for a second or so, then with Mom and Dad watching her. Today I sat in front of her and watched her stand alone and clap for 10 seconds or so. See video at the very end of this post. Also, in the video of the wading pool at the end of this post, you can see her stand up in the wading pool. The weather was threatening, so we weren't in the pool very long, but they really seemed to like it. Jake laughed, Claire kept trying to stand up, and slipped a few times on the slippery bottom. She seemed to like crawling in the water, it was only about 4" deep. Once her face went in, and I snatched her up and Jennifer and I cheered her on.
Jennifer had some yellow duckies to put in the pool, and the babies had a good time with them.

After pool time, the babies got macaroni and cheese, and slices of bananas, to eat by themselves. Then Jennifer fed them strawberry yogurt, which they really liked. By then they were tired and ready for their afternoon nap, and JanMa bailed out.

This is a video of JanMa holding Jake while he jumps. He was a little tired for this one, but when he is energetic, and you hold him up, his little legs kick up and down like he is jumping. This video sort of shows it, but he was about ready for his nap.

Here is the video of Claire standing up alone.
