Taylor's First Birthday

Taylor's first birthday party involved a weekend visit to Dallas.

The first evening up there Taylor shows off her climbing up the slide ladder and sliding down the slide skills.



At dinner, she showed off her teeth. She also will eat just about anything.


John and Taylor tried on their Halloween costumes. John is the Indian, Taylor has a pink cowgirl outfit.
Saturday morning cousin Maddy and Taylor played with the new doll house.

Then Taylor and John had fun in the bounce house before the party got started.

Taylor is ready to climb up the 6 ft. slide ladder.

But Dad helps Taylor get to the top of the slide,
then she goes down, hopefully someone is at the bottom to help her out.

Jake and Claire showed up for the party, and enjoyed the bounce house and slide too.

After hot dogs and popsicles, Taylor has John and friends help her open presents.

Of course, Taylor would rather climb on top of a present than open it.

Then it was time for Happy Birthday and cake.

Taylor really enjoyed her cake.
The next day was State Fair Day, with John and Taylor and Maddy enjoying corn dogs, petting animals, and getting to ride all over the fairgrounds.




It was a great weekend trip for me to Dallas, and a perfect 1st birthday for Taylor.
